Affordable Membership Program

Naari Pad Bank offers an Affordable Membership Program designed specifically for unemployed and underprivileged women. By contributing just ₹5, members gain access to a wide range of support services aimed at promoting menstrual hygiene, health awareness, and self-reliance. This nominal fee ensures inclusivity, enabling even the most economically challenged women to benefit from the initiative. Members receive free sanitary pads at regular intervals, participate in workshops on hygiene and well-being, and are given priority access to skill development programs that enhance their livelihood opportunities. Through this program, Naari Pad Bank not only addresses basic health needs but also fosters dignity, confidence, and empowerment among women in need.

Monthly Pad Distribution

As a core component of its mission, Naari Pad Bank conducts a Monthly Pad Distribution Drive to ensure consistent access to hygienic and eco-friendly sanitary pads for its members. Each month, registered women receive a supply of sanitary pads at no cost or minimal contribution, depending on their economic status. The distribution is carried out through local volunteers, community centers, and self-help group networks to reach even the most remote or underserved areas. This initiative not only promotes menstrual hygiene but also works to eliminate stigma and taboos associated with menstruation. By ensuring regular and reliable access to sanitary products, Naari Pad Bank upholds the health, dignity, and confidence of every woman it serves.

Menstrual Health Awareness Sessions

Naari Pad Bank organizes regular Menstrual Health Awareness Sessions to educate women and adolescent girls about menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, and breaking cultural taboos. These sessions are conducted by trained health educators, medical professionals, and volunteers in both urban and rural settings. Topics covered include the menstrual cycle, proper use and disposal of sanitary pads, managing menstrual pain, hygiene practices, and addressing myths and misconceptions. Interactive discussions, demonstrations, and distribution of educational materials ensure participants gain both knowledge and confidence. By fostering open dialogue and providing accurate information, Naari Pad Bank empowers women to take charge of their health, reduce stigma, and promote community-wide awareness about menstruation.

Community Outreach & Support

Naari Pad Bank actively engages in Community Outreach & Support to reach women and girls in underserved and remote areas. Through door-to-door visits, local awareness camps, street plays, and collaborations with village leaders and self-help groups, the initiative builds trust and spreads critical information about menstrual hygiene and women’s health. Special efforts are made to identify those in urgent need—such as schoolgirls, single mothers, and women in crisis—ensuring they receive timely assistance. Alongside pad distribution, emotional support and guidance are provided to help women overcome social taboos, health fears, and isolation. This grassroots approach strengthens community bonds and ensures that no woman is left behind in the movement for dignity, hygiene, and empowerment.

Counseling and Emotional Support

Recognizing the emotional and psychological challenges faced by many women, Naari Pad Bank offers dedicated Counseling and Emotional Support services as part of its empowerment mission. Trained counselors and social workers provide a safe, confidential space for women to share their concerns related to menstruation, body image, self-esteem, domestic issues, and mental health. Group discussions, one-on-one sessions, and peer support circles are conducted regularly to help women feel heard, supported, and valued. Special focus is given to adolescent girls, survivors of abuse, and women dealing with social isolation. Through these efforts, Naari Pad Bank fosters emotional resilience, boosts confidence, and nurtures mental well-being—ensuring holistic care beyond physical health.

Hygiene Kit Distribution

As part of its holistic approach to women’s health, Naari Pad Bank regularly organizes Hygiene Kit Distribution drives for its members and vulnerable women in the community. Each kit typically contains essential items such as sanitary pads, soap, shampoo, detergent, a towel, undergarments, and a small booklet on hygiene practices. These kits are distributed during awareness camps, outreach programs, and special occasions like Women’s Day or Menstrual Hygiene Day. The initiative not only addresses immediate hygiene needs but also educates recipients on the importance of personal cleanliness and health. By providing these kits, Naari Pad Bank ensures dignity, promotes self-care, and supports women in maintaining their well-being—especially those with limited access to basic hygiene products.
